Unphotographable

I rather like this blurry self-portrait, which came about when fruitlessly attempting to photograph this rather fantabulous brooch scored yesterday. It came from Debenhams sale, cost a fiver, and really reminds me of Andrew Logan’s work. I’ve been a massive fan of his from my early teens and was lucky enough to meet him back when his jewellery was still affordable. According to one of my friends who’s a regular visitor to his studio, they’re about four hundred pounds a shot now. Mine were only twenty quid!

There are times when I think I’ll never tame this wretched camera.
