Very excited? Seriously?

Evans are apparently peeing themselves with squee over their forthcoming spring collection. Sorry but colour me underwhelmed if this random, sorry-arsed bunch of basics is the best they can do to whet this fat girl’s appetite. If I need uninspired clothes to walk the dog in, (not that I have one), I can score them cheaper at Asda, thanks. What I need is to be enticed dammit! And while we’re at it, if I see one more bastard funnel-necked coat I will probably kill myself. Like many fats I have no neck, which is to say what little neck I do possess is mostly occupied by my chins. Funnel necks and I are profoundly incompatible and Evans and Ann Harvey have been Funnel Neck Central for at least three winters.

Evans, have you learned nothing from your outing with Beth Ditto and the unprecedented international success you had as a result of that collaboration? Where the fuck are the citrus brights, the bold graphic floral and geometric prints, the dreamy pastel ice cream shades all the trend predictors have been jabbering on about? Please tell me they’re on their way. Because, if they’re not, you won’t be seeing any of my hard earned dosh come spring.
