I once was lost but now I’m found…
Not, it’s not summer in West London, nor have I repaired to the Antipodes. This OOTD has been brought to you by the wonders of modern technology. When my old camera broke, I’d been recording my attempt to colour-block. My memory card wasn’t transferrable to my new camera and just happened to be lying about in my study when my friend N came round for dinner tonight. “Oh,” he said, “I just discovered my iMac’s got a special little slot for those.” He promptly took it home and mailed me the contents, most of which were blurry and underexposed. Here’s the one that wasn’t.
Frock: Monsoon summer sale. A bastard to iron but I love it. It’s kind of Marylin Monroe with a Stevie Nicks hem.
Shrug: Laura Ashley summer sale. The bow sold it to me. I have yet to outgrow my Hello Kitty phase.
Bag: Paul Frank via eBay yonks ago. (The more stuff you cram in it the more like a wedge of watermelon it looks; genius!)
Sandals: Ecco, via T.K.Maxx, remixed.
I think I look pretty cute for an ol’ lady.
