So near, yet so far…

My frustration is legion. This is the first City Chic item that’s ever made me flip my sartorial lid. At least the print did. Ozzie textile designers fear neither bright nor bold. (I suspect that’s because they have proper light over there, unlike us Brits, who seem to delight in sludgy autumnal hues and/or boring neutrals). So why the frustration? The unholy triumvirate of 100% polyester, (for summer; are you kidding?); shirring at the waist, (a major no-no for a short-waisted, boobalicious apple like me); and most annoying of all, even if my print lust did win out over practicality, the damned thing’s sold out!
