Just As Predictable
There was much kerfuffle about online fat-lady mag, Just As Beautiful, launching as a print publication last month. Naturally, Daily Fail readers were chiming in with the usual reactionary tripe, e.g. (and verbatim): “I am sick and tired of fat people thinking that it is ok to be fat, and this stupid magazine idea is just encouraging being unhealthy and disgusting!” – to which I say quite right!...

Getting my Beth Ditto on
Between my advancing years, lamentable shortness and hard-to-dress shape, Beth Ditto’s 2009 collection for Evans wasn’t for me. The iconic domino leggings were too long, the frocks too short and too bodycon, while most of the tops made me look like an IKEA lampshade.
